Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026.
This page explains what personal data network.at4pm.com collects, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. The site is a free community project, supported by 4PM. We do not sell data and we do not run ads.
Who is responsible for the data
The data controller is the administrator of the network.at4pm.com project, who runs it as a volunteer, as a private individual. The project is not a company and has no commercial purpose. For any question or request about your data, write to us at network@at4pm.com.
What data we collect
- Candidates: name, email, phone (optional), city and county, the role you want, your last role and employer, experience, level, languages, availability, desired salary (optional), the month you started looking, LinkedIn and portfolio (optional), photo (optional) and a note you write.
- Companies posting jobs: company name, tax ID (CUI), contact person, company email and phone (optional), job details.
- Mentors: name, email, role, field, how you can help, time available, LinkedIn and photo (optional).
- Requests about company pages: name, role, company email, tax ID (CUI) and the message sent.
Your CV does not reach us
If you choose to upload your CV in the sign-up form, the file is read only in your browser, to fill in the empty fields automatically. The file is not sent and not saved on the server. Only what you see in the form when you press send is saved.
What is public and what is not
Your candidate profile is public on the list, because that is the purpose of the site: to help employers find you. Your email and phone, if you choose to show them, appear only after an anti-bot check. Anyone visiting the site can see the public data on the list. When you get hired, the “Got hired” tab keeps only your first name, the initial of your last name, your field and the month.
Why we use the data
- to show your profile to companies, based on your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), which you give when you sign up and can withdraw at any time;
- to send you the confirmation emails and the links to edit your profile, tell us you got hired or leave the list;
- to check that jobs come from real companies (tax ID and company email), based on our legitimate interest in keeping the list clean;
- to stop abuse (we limit the number of submissions per hour for each IP address, without keeping the address).
How long we keep the data
- Your candidate profile stays on the list until you ask to leave. We do not hide it or delete it on our own.
- Once a month you get an email with links to confirm you are still on the list, edit your profile or leave.
- Sign-ups not confirmed by email are deleted after 14 days.
- Jobs expire after 45 days.
- Email links expire and can be used only once.
Who else sees the data
- Hostinger, the company that hosts the site and sends the emails.
- LinkedIn, only if you choose to connect with LinkedIn. We then get your name, email and profile photo from LinkedIn, nothing else.
- Google Fonts, which delivers the site’s fonts and therefore sees your browser’s IP address.
Cookies
Our basic statistics do not use cookies. Google Analytics starts only if you press “Accept” in the cookie banner; if you decline, it does not load at all. Your choice stays saved in your browser and you can change it at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. The site also saves in your browser your choice between light and dark mode. If you connect with LinkedIn, we use a temporary cookie to fill in the form with the details we receive.
Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you press “Accept”, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to see how the site is used: pages visited, where visitors come from, device, approximate city and the buttons used. We do not send Google your name, email or other form details. Google keeps this data for at most 14 months. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings”. Google may transfer data outside the EU, under standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to your data, to correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, take it with you and object to its processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time. The fastest way: use the “Edit” or “I want to leave the list” links next to your profile, or write to us at network@at4pm.com. You also have the right to complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).
No automatic recommendations
The site is a notice board: a public list of candidates and jobs, with filters. We do not rank, select or recommend candidates to companies, and companies do not get any score. Companies see applicants in the order they applied, newest first. The match percentage on the Jobs page is seen only by you: it is calculated in your browser, from the skills you pick, and is not sent to anyone. For internal statistics, the site may calculate a score for each application, which only the administrator sees.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. We announce important changes on the site.
Job applications
When you apply to a job on the site, we send the company that posted it your name, email, phone and LinkedIn (if you filled them in), your county, years of experience, the skills you picked and your message. If you are on the candidate list with the same email, the company also sees the details in your profile. The application reaches the company only after you confirm it by email, based on your consent.
Unconfirmed applications are deleted after 3 days. The others are deleted automatically 30 days after the job expires. The company sees the applications on a private page, through a link sent only to the company email it posted the job with. The skills you pick on the Jobs page to see your matches stay only in your browser.
Anti-bot check
The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop bots. Cloudflare receives technical information about your browser and your IP address, only to check that you are human, under its own privacy policy. We do not use Turnstile for ads or tracking.
Anonymous statistics
We count visits and how the site’s features are used (for example how many people open the sign-up form), without cookies and without outside services. We do not keep your IP address: for unique visitors we use a code that changes every day and is deleted after two days. We keep only daily totals.
This is an English translation. If the two versions differ, the Romanian version applies.
